Rice Love Tree was formed in 2020 with the sole purpose of creating a platform to share beautiful stories that promote the positive themes woven into the complexity of the black experience.  Our founders, Syrina and Darrell Rice, firmly believe it is important to honor honest and insightful storytelling about our unique relationship with self-love as a people. It’s our hope that our books will build confidence in young readers and encourage healing conversations within families.
