In this story we meet Syd the Kreative. She uses her imagination to create things people can really enjoy. The only problem is being a creative kid can get pretty messy. This is especially true when Mama doesn't quite see things the same way as Syd. Will they ever see eye to eye?
In this book Syd the Kreative discovers the art of Jean- Michel Basquiat, Kara Walker, Kadir Nelson and Kehinde Wiley while completing a school project. After comparing herself to these great Artists, she learns what really makes you great is being yourself.
